Vamshi Krishna Gajjela is a skilled Software Engineer with a passion for innovation, modular design, low-power solutions, and a greener world. With over 11 years of relevant experience, he has a strong background in firmware development for various MCUs and Nand-Flash controllers, as well as in Linux Kernel, device drivers, and BSP for systems running Android/minimal-fs. He is proficient in C programming and data structures, and has a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC. Vamshi has been involved in the end-to-end design and development of various embedded devices, and has a schematic understanding and review. He has expertise in board bring-up activity, debugging, and integration of large and complex systems. He has also worked on low power wearable devices and IoT development, as well as in Java, Android, and shell scripting. Currently working as a Software Engineer at Google, Vamshi has previously held senior positions at Espressif Systems and GE Renewable Energy. At GE Renewable Energy, he was responsible for firmware development for real-time IED transmission-class protection relay, known as MiCOM P54x. He also worked on Xilinx ZC702 EVK, Zynq 7000 SoC, bootloader and firmware development, manufacture test application, BSP support, embedded filesystem, porting b/w CPU architectures, RTOS, device and develop drivers for proprietary communication modules, design and development of time synchronization module, board bring-up, makefiles, and source organization. Vamshi holds a Master of Technology in Software Systems (Embedded) from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. He is proficient in software engineering, Android, integration, Java, and test. With his diverse skillset and experience, Vamshi is a valuable asset to any team he works with.
